A start-up fracking company of entrepreneurs from Jefferson County won an arbitration case against AF Global. Performance Pump paid a $1.1 million down payment for four frack pumps, for which they got nothing in return. When sued, AF Global responded with a claim three times what was owed. Performance Pumps stood its ground for four years and received an award in excess of $1.5 million. Performance Pumps was represented by Clay Dugas and Cody Rees.
